- Hold Steel Tempest's knock-up for when your jungler or another engage-heavy ally is nearby.

- Farm safely behind minions with Steel Tempest procs — Yasuo's shield only holds while you keep moving.
- Use Wind Wall to block incoming poke and hard-engage abilities in lane.

- Steel Tempest knock-up into Last Breath is the core all-in combo once you have a knock-up to chain from.
