Meng Qi

Tank

A shapeshifting tank who feeds on Mass gained from casting skills, growing stronger in fights but slowly shrinking when idle.

Strengths

  • His passive grows his attack and defense the more he fights, turning prolonged brawls in his favor.
  • His bouncing bubble slows repeatedly and can be recalled into an even bigger detonation.
  • His ultimate grants brief hyper armor while charging Mass and deals area damage on both ends.

Abilities

  • Passive · Dream Eater — Casting a skill grants Mass; every 10 Mass adds physical attack and dual defense. Mass decays 5/second in combat, 15/second out of combat.
  • 1 · Dream Embrace — Gains a shield and deals magic damage to nearby enemies while gaining Mass; landing basics on enemies cuts this skill's cooldown.
  • 2 · Dream Bubble — Throws a bubble that deals magic damage and a stacking slow to enemies in its path while granting himself move speed; when it first returns, he knocks it toward a nearby enemy again and gains Mass, turning it into a bomb that deals more magic damage the longer it's been airborne (up to 5.5 seconds for max damage).
  • Ultimate · Dream Journey — Travels through a dream, gaining Mass and dealing magic damage along the path; gains brief hyper armor on cast, and can be canceled early to burst for magic damage and a 0.75-second launch around him.

Recommended Build

Build 1: Arcane Boots → Mask of Anguish → Dusk's Flow → Echo Staff → Scholar's Wrath → Sage's Codex

Tip: Mask of Anguish's frequent proc from his 2 wears enemies down consistently, and once his ability power rises late-game, that same skill can burst for real damage.

Recommended Inscriptions

Inscriptions: Nightmare, Insight, Hunt

Tip: Since Meng Qi already has solid dual resistance from his kit, this set leans into HP and ability power to improve survivability while still contributing damage.

Hero Relationships

Best with: Lian Po, Sun Bin Counters: Yang Jian, Mozi Countered by: Lu Bu, Daji

Team Composition

A suggested 5-lane lineup built around Meng Qi, based on hero partnerships and role synergy — not win rate.
