Tip: Gao Jianli dives into the fight to land his ultimate, so Godslayer's Tome's sustain keeps him from getting worn down before he can commit.

Tip: Once he's dived in he usually draws focus fire — Radiant Moon's active buys him time to survive and keep disrupting the enemy.

Tip: As an AoE burst mage, high ability power and penetration maximize his damage; spell vamp improves his lane sustain, and the damage reduction plus healing from his kit let him survive team fights better, while attack speed helps him weave his passive's bonus damage into combos more easily.
