• Passive · Silent Words — Grants vision of casters within 2000 range and restores energy on skill casts in that range, plus more on kills/assists. Casting a skill also activates Shadow Fang for 4 seconds, giving bonus move speed and empowering basics into scythe strikes for magic damage, the first of which teleports behind the target for bonus damage.
• 1 · Shadow Bite — Releases an untargetable spirit for 2 seconds (he's crowd-control immune while controlling it); it deals magic damage to enemies it passes through, then he teleports to its final position, dealing magic damage and a slow (bonus damage to monsters/minions).
• 2 · Barren Domain — Suppresses the area around him for magic damage and a 1-second silence; staying in it for 2 more seconds restores energy. Passively, absorbed spell damage partially converts into HP over 2 seconds.
• Ultimate · Death's Descent — Transforms into the Reaper and, after a brief charge, strikes a location for magic damage, dealing reduced damage to enemies along the path.

Tip: Sima Yi lacks self-sustain, so Godslayer's Tome fills that gap, while Sorcerer's Wand sharpens his assassination burst.

Build 2: Ranger's Falchion → Boots of Haste → Godslayer's Tome → Sorcerer's Wand → Scholar's Wrath → Staff of Nothingness

Tip: His passive reveals enemy positions and his ultimate has huge reach, making him a strong jungler overall.

Tip: Attack speed matters a lot early-to-mid — with limited energy, how many scythe swings his passive can land each proc directly determines his damage output.
