Proposed Balance Patch
Balance every role to ~50%
A full pass across every hero with recorded stats (82 of the 127-hero roster — the other 45 have no seeded win/pick-rate data yet to review against). Mage is the strongest weighted role at ~51%, carried by an over-picked Angela and Wang Zhaojun, so its top performers get trimmed; Support is the weakest at ~49.7% and gets its underperformers lifted; and Tank, Warrior, Assassin, and Marksman each get smaller pulls toward the middle, including trims to the most-picked outliers (Arthur among Warriors, Lady Sun among Marksmen). Item and rune power are shared systems available to every hero, so changes are limited to hero skills and cooldowns. The target is to pull all six roles into a tight band around 50%.
| Role | Current | Projected | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assassin | 50.07% | 50.15% | +0.08 |
| Marksman | 50.16% | 50.08% | -0.08 |
| Support | 50.23% | 49.94% | -0.29 |
| Mage | 50.08% | 49.80% | -0.28 |
| Tank | 49.55% | 49.78% | +0.23 |
| Warrior | 49.69% | 49.72% | +0.03 |
Win-rate spread across roles narrows from 0.68% to 0.43%. Every role converges toward 50% — Tanks rise off the floor, Supports come down from the ceiling, and every other role's outliers are smoothed. Pick rates are held constant to isolate the win-rate effect.
Note: This is a hypothetical design proposal, not a live patch. All 6 roles are addressed. Balance changes are limited to hero skills and cooldowns, since items and runes are shared systems available to every hero and don't shift role balance. Every hero with a recorded win rate gets a listed recommendation below — the 45 heroes with no stats yet aren't included, rather than guessed at.
