• His 1's potion grows stronger the longer he channels it, rewarding well-timed setups with heavier damage and a longer stun.
• His ultimate summons a decoy that can revive a fallen ally, turning a losing fight around.
• His passive gives the whole team bonus gold from nearby jungle-monster or minion kills, snowballing an early lead.

• Passive · Golden Glimmer — When a nearby non-hero unit dies, Taiyi Zhenren and nearby allies get bonus gold from it.
• 1 · Unexpected Accident — Begins brewing a potion, gaining move speed and a shield for up to 5 seconds; finishing the brew (or canceling early) detonates for magic damage and a stun that both scale up with brew time. Hitting a hero on detonation refunds and re-triggers the skill.
• 2 · The Third Hand — Extends a hand from his cauldron in a direction, pulling himself to the first target hit; if it's an enemy, deals magic damage and a 0.5-second stun.
• Ultimate · Body Double — Summons a decoy that protects him and the lowest-HP nearby ally for 3 seconds; anyone who would die under its protection instead revives on the spot 2 seconds later with bonus HP. Usable while crowd-controlled; refunds 30% cooldown if nobody needed reviving.

Tip: Warlord's Plate gives Taiyi Zhenren great sustain, and paired with heavy cooldown reduction on his ultimate, he can keep the team's core carry protected almost constantly.

Build 2: Fleetfoot Boots → Extreme Shadow · Wolf's Run → Ominous Omen → Witch's Cloak → Glacial Storm → Sage's Sanctuary

Tip: Fleetfoot Boots with Wolf's Run lets Taiyi Zhenren rush the team into range to start a fight fast — his strong team control and unique revive can single-handedly decide the match.

Tip: Nightmare adds early damage output, Sacrifice adds ability power plus cooldown reduction, and Harmony adds early sustain and better ganking mobility.
